Schools, Education, Children & Young People

We work with schools and other educational establishments to remove barriers and create opportunities for children and adults to connect with and learn about nature. There is more and more evidence showing those children and young people who spend time outside connecting with nature see improvements in school attendance, behaviours, academic achievement, well-being and social skills like teamwork.

The Wild Remedy provides expertise to schools in the design of cross curriculum plans linking to whole school priorities and increasing opportunities for outdoor learning and assistance with securing external funding. Projects have included; skill based workshops for staff, design for outdoor learning areas and links to local environment and other programmes, school gardening, conservation and other eco-friendly projects, ecotherapy activities to support and improve the health and well-being of children and staff.

If you are wanting advice or assistance with creating a school nature based project please complete our enquiry form.
