Bee (Founder)

Bee’s passion is exploring connection and promoting therapeutic benefits of being in nature and a holistic connected way of living; healthy relationships between self, each other and the natural world and working for the benefit of all beings. Bee has over 20 years experience across Public Health, Sport and Exercise Science, Education and now as an Ecotherapist and Horticulturalist, bringing together innovative partnerships and investment to create supportive environments that inspire and help to make the healthier choice the easier choice. Bee has been fortunate to work across a number of sectors and able to use her experience, transferable skills and knowledge obtained from her career so far.

Bee has worked as a Principal of an International English Language School, a Director of Sport and Health in education and previously a Senior Commissioner within NHS Public Health overseeing the strategic development of Health and Wellbeing policies and the commissioning of health services across London and Essex, working closely with Chief Executives of Local Authorities, Directors of Education and Chief executives of NHS Trusts, Private and Third Sector. More recently Bee worked as Managing Director overseeing a Ecotherapy charity for mental health.

During her career, Bee has been recognised as a key person for supporting professionals and agencies through leading the development of Health and Wellbeing policies, professional networks and programmes to improve the health and education outcomes of diverse groups of people. This has required a broad knowledge base and insight of all the agencies and stakeholders involved as well as the ability to engage with key partners at all levels.

Bee is recognised for her passion and skills for networking and creating innovative partnerships, bringing different people and skills together whether it is to provide vision, ideas, find solutions to problems, to secure money/ funding or to raise the profile/ awareness in celebrating the achievements of others and to empower and inspire people to lead a healthier lifestyle. As a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts Bee also has access to a wealth of expertise and networks that include the environment, health and the arts.

Bee works both behind the scenes and also on the delivery of The Wild Remedy projects; Therapeutic Garden Design, Bespoke Workshops, Assisting Organisations with creating their own nature based projects and events.

Through Bee’s work and hobbies these have shown her the power of how nature can heal, re-centre us and bring us closer to our grounded selves.

When Bee is not in the garden she is busy following her other passion sport and working with and selecting female football players for the Essex County FA squad.

As the founder, I am thrilled to see our vision come to life, bringing together a community that values the nurturing bond between humans and nature.

Botanical Baker

Our Botanical Baker is the culinary genius behind all the delicious cakes and bakes at The Wild Remedy. Skilled in crafting treats that are suitable for both vegans and non-vegans, they use seasonal fresh herbs and edible flowers to create delightful and unique flavours. Each cake and bake is a work of art, designed to complement our workshops and events, making every occasion truly special.

Volunteer Horticulture Enthusiast

We are also fortunate to have the support of a dedicated volunteer who is gaining hands-on experience at one of our community therapy garden projects. This invaluable team member is learning the ropes of horticulture, growing edible plants, and expanding their knowledge in creating herbal self-care products. Their journey with us is a testament to the growth and learning opportunities that The Wild Remedy offers.
