Finding Our Wild Haven: A Journey to Establish The Wild Remedy's Home Base

Dear Wild Remedy Tribe,

As I sit down to share the latest chapter of our journey with you all, I can't help but reflect on the highs and lows we've encountered in our quest to find the perfect plot of land to establish a home base for our ecotherapy activities. The past year has been a whirlwind of excitement, frustration, and hope as we've scoured London and Essex for that elusive piece of land that speaks to our vision.

The Highs:

Oh, the highs have been truly exhilarating. From stumbling upon hidden gems nestled amidst the bustling cityscape to discovering forgotten parcels of land blanketed in wildflowers and brimming with potential, each moment of optimism has fuelled our determination to make The Wild Remedy's dream a reality.

One of the most memorable highs was stumbling upon a quaint smallholding tucked away in the Essex countryside. Surrounded by rolling hills and lush greenery, it felt like stumbling upon a piece of paradise. The possibilities seemed endless as we envisioned organic gardens, tranquil meditation spaces, and vibrant community gatherings taking root within its boundaries.

The Lows:

Yet, with every peak, there inevitably comes a valley. The journey hasn't been without its fair share of disappointments and setbacks. From bureaucratic red tape to exorbitant price tags attached to seemingly ideal properties, we've encountered our fair share of obstacles along the way.

One particularly disheartening low was discovering that a promising plot of land we had set our sights on was slated for commercial development. It was a sobering reminder of the delicate balance between progress and preservation, and the importance of advocating for green spaces in our ever-expanding urban landscape.

Lessons Learned:

Through it all, however, we've gleaned invaluable insights into the intricate world of land acquisition and horticulture. We've learned to discern between different types of land suitable for our ecotherapy endeavours, from arable fields ripe for cultivation to abandoned plots brimming with biodiversity waiting to be revitalised.

But perhaps the most important lesson we've learned is the power of community. Your unwavering support, encouragement, and shared passion for reconnecting with nature have been the driving force behind our pursuit. It's a reminder that we're not alone in this journey; we're part of a larger movement dedicated to fostering a deeper, more meaningful relationship with the natural world.

Call to Action:

As we continue our search for the perfect plot of land to call home, we invite you to join us on this adventure. Share your top tips for securing and finding the perfect plot, or if you have any leads on available land in London or Essex area, don't hesitate to reach out. Together, we can turn our shared vision into a reality.

In the meantime, rest assured that we're not letting our search deter us from our mission. We'll continue to pop up in various venues, delivering our ecotherapy activities and workshops to those eager to reconnect with nature and themselves.

Thank you for being part of The Wild Remedy community. Your passion and support fuel our journey and inspire us to keep pushing forward, no matter the obstacles we may encounter.

With gratitude and wild-hearted optimism,

Bee~ Founder of The Wild Remedy
